The Faith Lutheran Choral ScholarsÂ
The Choral Scholars are a student and laity choral ensemble that presents weekly anthems, motets, hymns, and other liturgical music for worship services at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Summerlin, Nevada.
The Choral Scholars were started in 2020. They present music for weekly worship and special occassions and combine with both the Voices of Faith and the FL.Kantori throughout the year to perform diverse concerts of sacred music.
KANTORI [CAN-toe-rye] is a term for a church choir, historically employed by nobility to sing for their worship services. Today it is used to signify an ensemble specializing in sacred music.
Kantori is proud to serve in residence at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Las Vegas.
Kantori and Choral Scholars are directed by Joseph Svendsen, DMA.
